Our client is a global group of companies that provide Insights on Demand. In the UK they are one of the leading online survey companies using digital methods.

Reporting to the internal steering committee, the Project Manager they require will be responsible for managing the conception, implementation and roll out of an internal Project Portfolio Management software system.

We are ideally looking for someone with a proven and demonstrable experience of a PPM software roll out and if this has been at an international level, that would be great!

There may be a need for the Project Manager to be involved in the selection of the software if this has not been done prior to the appointment.

The role of the Project Manager will be to coordinate the project and ensure the following:

- On-time, on-budget and in-scope delivery of this highly strategic internal project

- Stakeholder management and ensuring the project has buy-in across the group

- Coordination of internal dedicated resources and external vendors for flawless implementation, roll-out and continuous improvement

- Ongoing management and continuous improvement of the system

- Working with the internal user to ensure the system fulfils their requirements on an ongoing basis

The Project Manager will be the go-to person for all topics related to the Information Management System, its implementation and the continuous improvement of the system and of our processes whilst the system will enable us in continuing in delighting our customers whilst ensuring all our projects are allocated the ideal amount of time and effort.

In detail the Project Manager will be responsible for:

- Developing a realistic project plan

- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders

- Ensuring resource availability

- Assessing impact of change on timelines and budget

- Managing and minimizing risk

- Maintaining a positive flow of communication for both stakeholders and internal clients

- Producing and maintaining comprehensive documentation such as specifications, training materials or user guide

- Ensuring application maintenance and continuous improvement of the internal system


The Project Manager will have the following skills and responsibilities:

- Educational background in computer science and/or software development and/or product development or equivalent background

- Proven track record in successfully managing the implementation of systems being responsible for budgeting and analysis

- Previous experience in Application Maintenance

- Excellent written and oral communication

- High level of organization and comfortable in managing multiple tasks

- Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, including at CEO level

- Ability to keep project within timeline and budget

- Team player with high emotional intelligence and ability to influence

- Problem solving attitude

- Technically savvy (TBD)

- Previous experience in software development and web technologies is a plus

Our client has 20 locations worldwide employing around 2000 people. These projects are being rolled out across all sites across the globe so this person must have the flexibility to travel maybe 50-70% of the time.

Working hours will also be of a flexible nature due to the various locations worldwide.
