Job Description:

A Project Manager is required by our secure government client for a 6-month contract based in London.


**The client has stated that this role is “IN-SCOPE” for the Off-Payroll Worker legislation – Maximum day rate: £400 Umbrella**

**Due to the nature of the role a minimum of active CTC or SC level clearance is required prior to the start of the contract**



The SARs Programme is an ambitious public-private partnership between the Home Office, The National Crime Agency, The Financial Conduct Authority and representatives from the private sector, through UK Finance.

The Programme are working with its partners and stakeholders to capture, record and understand the business change necessary to accommodate this step-change and it will develop the new IT provision, using modern business intelligence tools and techniques to improve the ability of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) to process the intelligence it receives and ensure it is exploited to maximum effect.


Keys tasks include:

  • Programme Set Up – Org. Design
  • Programme Plan
  • Funding Model for the Programme
  • RAID Management Strategy & Log
  • Programme Governance Model & Reporting Strategy


Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable project/programme management experience within a secure environment – ideally previously within a government department or large public sector organisation.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and negotiation skills – strong stakeholder management within a changing environment.
  • Excellent project/programme planning experience.
  • Budget management.
  • Risk and dependency management.
