SCS1 – Chief Data Officer – Ministry of Defence

MOD – Corsham – In-scope IR35: £1000 /day – contract until December 2020 – Security level: DV


Reporting directly to the 2* Defence CTO (Director Digital Enablement), as a core member of their senior leadership team, the Chief Data Officer will lead a team of Digital and Information professionals who play a critical role at the heart of driving forward Defence’s Digital agenda to become a data driven organisation.

The role requires a charismatic and collaborative leader, effective at partnering with key stakeholders across defence, government and industry to deliver innovative business and military capability.

You will lead pan defence on the Digital Data and Information strategy and execution, in particular data: governance, control, monitoring, lifecycle and data sourcing to drive effective information exploitation.


This role includes travel to London.
