Job Description:
Our client who are an Educational establishment based in the West Midlands, are now looking for a Project Manager with an estates and maintenance background to join them ASAP.

Key Duties

To manage the effective provision of space and associate service to underpin delivery of college's goals

Project management (structural and adaptations), property portfolio management and development - to include space planning, maintenance (recurrent and capital), repair and refurbishment, facilities operational management

To manage inter-relationships between different aspects of the service to ensure customer focused delivery, both internal and external to the college

To ensure project planning, cost planning and budget monitoring is rigorously undertaken, and appropriate project management arrangements are put in place

Qualifications

Education to degree or equivalent

Possess relevant professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, CIBSE, RIBA or equivalent)

Experience/Skills

-Proven track record of successful project management and technical experience

-Substantial experience in planning and tendering

-Sound knowledge of appropriate contract related legislations - including procurement, planning, property and construction

-Driving License

Full Time (37 hours); salary c45K, interim role in the first instance to permanent.
