Job Description:

Our Microsoft Gold Partner and Cloud Solutions client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is a home-based/remote role with some travel to client sites if/when required.

 

 

Our client delivers solutions including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, ERP, Azure and Power Platform to a wide variety of clients in the public, private and not for profit sectors.

They are adept at using Microsoft’s proven technology to deliver tailored solutions such as case management and stakeholder communications, compliance management tools, self-service portals and centres of enablement that support the innovative use of Power Platform. They also provide a full range of professional services, from requirements gathering to bespoke development, training and ongoing project support.

Our client is looking for enthusiastic, open, inquisitive candidates who are energised by working closely with clients and end users to deliver great solutions.

 

The role:

Reporting to the Head of Operations/Project Lead, you will join their project team and be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of technology systems based on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and/ or Dynamics Finance solutions (Business Central and Finance & Operations) for customers. Projects are delivered in agile, waterfall and hybrid environments.

You will work closely with clients, utilising strong communication and stakeholder management skills to ensure successful delivery to time, cost and quality parameters. An understanding/experience within a technical/IT environment is highly beneficial so that you are able to effectively act as the bridge between the internal technical teams and customer business/users. Please note, this is not a technical role.

You will ultimately be responsible for the solutions delivering on time and within budget, with a continued focus on business requirements and user needs. You will be a thorough planner with an eye for detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and co-ordination of all activities across one or multiple projects
  • A focus on successful outcomes so that business and user needs are met
  • Planning the effective use of resources
  • Risk and issue management and mitigation
  • Management of project budgets and customer billing
  • Regular and ongoing customer and internal communications
  • Supporting other project/delivery managers.

 

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable project management experience within an IT/technical/consultancy environment.
  • Previous experience working closely with technical teams and ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent client facing/stakeholder management skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication, analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies.
  • SDLC experience.
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/ or Dynamics Finance solutions (Business Central and Finance & Operations) is highly desirable.

 

This role is home-based/remote with some travel to client sites if/when required.
