Job Description:
Opportunity for an experienced project professional to join an organisation as it embarks on a journey to accelerate its customer-focused expansion in the UK and Ireland.
 
Our client is looking for an experienced practitioner to join them as Head of Programme Management as they look to establish a PMO. The challenge is to provide the senior leadership team with the desired oversight and governance of a portfolio of initiatives which will establish the new business structure and then provide strategic growth.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this senior position will demand a practitioner with excellent communication skills; an ability to work at pace and experience of managing a portfolio of initiates across the whole enterprise. You will be joining a workplace populated by professional and passionate people with a progressive outlook and a focus on people.

This role is offered under a hybrid model of working with the expectation of office attendance for one day per week, providing an additional element of geographical freedom.

Personal attributes include:

  • Project management qualifications or relevant experience
  • Experienced in leading significant Change Management programmes.
  • Project experience across a number of key business functions
  • Comfortable with large amounts of data and operating within a complex environment
  • Ability to communicate across a diverse community of stakeholders; high quality networking and influencing skills are a key requirement.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work at pace with changing priorities
  • A developed knowledge in the theory and application of Project Management methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Generalist Operations knowledge and legal compliance
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation and with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate the business value on complex solutions
