Job Description:

A Change Manager is required by our safety equipment client on a part time, 12-month fixed term basis.


This role is fully remote with travel 1-2 times per month - part time 20hrs/week.




Our client are a leading supplier of safety, communications and surveying equipment and have recently put together a 3-year business and culture transformation programme. This will cover 6 major workstreams and engage across the entire organisation.



They require a Change Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed term, part-time basis to drive the change forward across 5 out of the 6 workstreams. This role will work remotely and input into monthly senior leadership meetings held at varying locations across the UK.

The change programme will focus on 6 workstreams: People, Communication, Data & Reporting, Customers & Commercials, Fleet, H&S & Compliance.

This role is all about facilitating the implementation of major change across the business. You will engage with staff at all levels to ensure successful uptake and embedding of the change programme. This will require strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication and reporting skills, and the ability to influence staff across all levels of the business.


Previous experience within an equipment focused or H&S environment would be ideal.


Key tasks:

  • Manage and facilitate the delivery of 5 workstreams across the change programme.
  • Regular reporting and presentations to senior leadership including a monthly face to face meeting.
  • Ensuring staff across all levels are meeting deadlines/commitments and actioning required changes.
  • Regular updating of MS Project plan.


Essential skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable change management experience delivering and embedding business and cultural change.
  • Previous experience within a H&S – highly desirable.
  • An excellent communicator with strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills including influencing staff across all levels of an organisation.
  • Highly organised.
  • A self-starter, happy driving change forward and working with some autonomy.
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Happy working with ambiguity at the front end of a change programme.
  • IT Proficient – including remote working and standard MS packages (Office, Project).
  • Resilient
  • Full UK Driving Licence


The organisation is making huge strides towards improving the internal culture and external business offerings. There is buy in from the SLT and group wide approval for the 3-year change programme. You will be a key player in ensuring the successful uptake and embedding of the change.
