Job Description:

We require an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our digital technology development client on a permanent basis. This role is remote with frequent travel when required to either Newcastle or London offices.

 

 

Client:

Our client creates digital products for the lottery and gaming environment. They work internationally within regulated environments to deliver app and web products to lottery and gaming organisations.

 

Role:

They require an experienced Digital Project Manager with demonstrable client facing, full SDLC and agile software/digital delivery experience.

 

This role requires strong leadership (line management) experience, excellent senior/CxO level communication and reporting skills, and a solid understanding of both the SDLC and project lifecycles. This will include

 

This is not a technical developer role, but you must have demonstrable experience delivering software/digital projects and translating between technical and non-technical teams/stakeholders.

The Project Function currently consists of 3x Project Managers and 1x Agile Delivery Manager/Scrum Master, with active engagement across Engineering/Development, QA and Commercial teams. You will report into the Digital Delivery Director.

 

 

Essential skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable full project management lifecycle experience in a software development/delivery organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience in the digital technology sector; Apps, webapps, UX/UI, etc.
  • Very strong clients facing skills
  • Experience and effective application of Agile processes – ideally Agile certified, but not essential.
  • Experience of release management and SDLC
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills across channels including previous senior/CxO level experience.
  • Great interpersonal skills, leading by example through “hearts and mind”.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture, focusing on the goals that matter
  • A passionate, ideas driven approach to project management.
  • Experience within the lotteries or gaming environment – beneficial but not essential.

 

This role has growth potential – the client is looking to improve their current PM function and this role will be highly influential in that process.
