Job Description:
Programme Planning Manager required to join a highly successful and expanding niche developer and constructor.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will contribute to the organisation with their construction experience, ideally in large-scale repeat programmes, from groundworks through to finishing. Procurement and scheduling experience are preferred. You will enjoy the intellectual challenge of creating a large-scale programme from regional based best practise squads.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be working closely with the team of Regional Directors and key operational staff on site across the UK.  You will take day to day responsibility for aiding the Regional Directors to design, lead, monitor and control the whole construction programme across the UK. You will provide visibility to our regional work at a UK wide level, building clear coordinated roadmaps across all activities and reporting against key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Agree a scope of works and obtain quotes and implement the required activities from all contributors to the build from in house suppliers and outsourced support.
  • Agree the cost for each programme and work in partnership with finance to report progress against the build.
  • Work to constantly improve against our “best practise” model and manage adherence to that standard approach.
  • Build a UK wide planning approach to link all our site activities together in order to manage conflicts and ensure overall delivery. Build a new weekly reporting process to support the Managing Director with board updates and overall transparency helping ensure expectations are appropriately set and fulfilled.
  • Design a key performance indicator pack to enable board visibility on programmes.
  • Work closely with our experienced team of regional directors and site managers. Travel as required to validate progress.

Ideally based in Leeds, the role will require travel to all construction sites nationwide.  Business mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with policy.
